A Full Family Membership includes all rights, privileges, and responsibilities of the Club for the whole family members currently living at home. A Full Family Member must be 21 years of age. $400.00 Dues, $28 Sales Tax

MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

I understand membership in the Mohican Sailing Club is open to any person interested in the mission of the club as outlined in the Constitution without respect to gender, race, creed, religion, citizenship, national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, disability, or other biases.

I understand the club is a cooperative club in which all members are expected to contribute to its maintenance and its operation through participation in Dock and Undock Days and in other volunteer activities.

I understand all members agree to comply with the rules of the Club as stated in the Constitution. Failure to do so can result in expulsion from the Club.

I understand my dues must be paid on an annual basis; failure to pay dues will result in the forfeiture of membership.

I understand that any boat that I leave on Club grounds overnight must have a valid, up to date OH registration and must have a current MCWD decal. These must be displayed on the watercraft by May 30 of the current year. Boats left on conservancy property (which includes the grounds that the Club leases from the conservancy) in violation of this rule will be considered abandoned and disposed of by Mohican Sailing Club in accordance with the Laws of the State of Ohio.

LIABILITIES

Recreational sailing, like many other sports, involves inherent dangers and personal risks including risk of injury or death.

As a member, and for my family and guests, I acknowledge these risks, and I agree to hold Mohican Sailing Club, Inc., its officers and trustees, and my fellow members, harmless regarding any damages to personal property or injuries suffered as a result of using the Club’s facilities. These facilities include boats, docks, hoist, ramp, clubhouse, grounds, or parking.
